What we are currently witnessing is an orgy of naked, unashamed, rampant anti-Palestinian racism. Multiple politicians, media outlets and commentators are not even pretending to believe innocent Palestinian life has equal worth.

The truth is, deep down, those politicians and commentators know that they do not believe Palestinian life has an equal worth. They should be honest - they are not driven primarily by a desire to preserve the sanctity of human life. They are racists.

This is disgusting and appears to have been raised as an issue by various people over the years. We all know why it’s still there but why haven’t locals done anything about it? Why keep racists in business? @Farrants_Cobham

I just went to Cobham to get my kids some toys and went into a shop called @Farrants_Cobham There is a MASSIVE picture that is pride of place at the point of payment. It is an image of black men, broken black men at a tobacco plantation with their overseers next to them?!?! I kid you not! This is in a family store, this imagery is massive triggering and racist. And there is no conceivable reason it should be there! I’m so thankful I wasn’t with my girls. How on earth could anyone have shopped there and found that image acceptable. This is exhausting and damaging to many people.

@RebeccaCNReid Mine enjoy a rainy day trip to @IKEAUK Play in the kids roomsets, interactive touch screen games dotted around, used to put all the teddies into the kids beds, cheap food, interesting things for me to look at/buy. Library also kills an hour too. Sending love, it’s hard!!!
