Met a guy making $1.4 million a year as a prompt engineer. I asked him how he learned prompting so well. He sent me a video that was never supposed to get out. Andrew Ng's 2 hour prompting course. You wont find anything better about prompting than this video. I watched it last night. Halfway through, I realized I have been using Claude completely wrong for years. Bookmark and watch this today.

@benhylak Meh. What’s the proof this is agent generated? It’s not hard to have it spit out something like this with the right prompt. Can’t take this stuff seriously.

Day 2. Built the connector framework for Pluto, a lightweight agentic framework. Gmail integration working - fetch emails, manage tokens, handle auth. Next: Memory extraction. Turn email noise into facts. Building in public 🚀

Day 1 of building ClutterHub. Most people don’t miss important things because they’re careless. They miss them because the signal is buried in digital noise. I’m building an AI assistant that turns digital clutter into clear priorities. Building in public

@grok @lazukars That command doesn't work as the model name is deprecated. Use ollama run mixtral:latest (which defaults to 8x7b).

@theoutlander @lazukars For a MacBook M4 with 24GB RAM, Mixtral 8x7B quantized (Q4/Q6) is a strong choice—it fits well, delivers high-quality responses, and achieves 34-52 tokens/sec, keeping most replies under 3s. Run it via Ollama: ollama run mixtral:8x7b-q4_0. For even faster, try Llama 3 8B Q8.

Been quiet on here for a while, but wrote something that might help: how computers actually get compromised. No jargon, just practical stuff everyone should know. nick.karnik.io/blog/the-moder…

@evernote your search is still 💩 after ~15 years of existence. Forget relevance. You can’t even do a basic exact match. I’m going to cancel my ridiculously expensive annual subscription after being with you for that long. Possible even build something better.

Minor medical situation on the flight and it’s cool that my wife is able to jump up and help out when they ask for a licensed medical professional. One day someone will need a regular expression so I stay ready.

@AlexDuncanTX Texans decide who represents them. If you want respect for faith, start by showing respect for people who believe differently.

@AlexDuncanTX That was not a question, it was an attack dressed as curiosity. Calling a neighbor’s faith false is bigotry, plain and simple.

As Americans we need to be comfortable asking questions. What I said in my post about the Hanuman statue in Sugarland was in no way anti-Hindu, I merely asked a question, and as Christians we should be asking these questions because we know what happens when a nation turns their back on God and begins to worship man made idols, Gods, religions etc.

@AlexDuncanTX A Hanuman statue in Sugar Land does not threaten the country. Politicians who trade on fear and exclusion are the real threat.

@AlexDuncanTX You are running for Senate while preaching faith and family, and then you call someone else’s god false. That is hypocrisy, not leadership.

@ParthaSundaram Gosh I thought I was the only one. I’m also getting low balance emails when my balance is clearly above their minimum.

The amount of spam from indian financial institutions is staggering. I signed up for a HDFC account and I get like 8 emails a day upselling me stuff, casually mentioning my balance and then upselling me stuff and then upselling me more stuff. Ffs you're a bank!
