The most expensive item I ever flipped was a Porsche 911 Dakar “Rough Roads” It took me 3 days of contacting dealers across the entire US until I found 1 (the dealer said it was one of the last allocations in the entire world of the 2500 that they created). Every single other Porsche dealer told me I was NOT going to get one because of their 918 Spyder buyers getting their allocations - think buyers of Patek Phillip or Richard Mille that get all of the best high-end watches and people who never buy just can’t even buy them unless they pay HUGE overs on msrp I drove it for about a month before finding a buyer (my plan all along lol) The price of these has decreased about ~ $80,000 since I sold it and it’s only been about 6 months There is learning in everything & some day I hope to “broker” Porsches
