People sometimes unfairly critique Angel's game because it doesn't "look" a certain way. It doesn’t have to. We know she's dealt with injuries. We know she has hypermobile (double-jointed) joints. And she's still out there balling. You have to make adaptions to your mechanics based on what your body can or can’t handle. And ya’ll give grace to everybody else but her.

Literally sometimes I just want her to pause. And spin, euro, pivot, something. Whatever she need to do to change direction when it’s necessary. She does it, but it’s not automatic every game. And I know it’ll always “look” different because of previous injury, but I don’t care how it looks as long as it goes in.

Angel has to stop rushing when she’s 1v1 in the paint. Those were easy buckets.
