What Kevin left out is that 49% of Americans can't cover their rent right now. Telling them to invest 20% of their paycheck isn't advice. It's math dressed up as a plan for people who don't have the margin to run it.

$69K in Florida (no state tax) ≈ $4.4K/mo. Rent + bills ~$3.5K. ~$900 left. 20% investing = $880. That’s not realistic—cost of living is the real tax. Remember fed tax is 22% cuz Kevin pays no fuckin taxes.
