Here's what we know of Penn State's schedule so far: -9/5 vs. Marshall, 3:30 pm, FS1 -9/12 at Temple, Noon, ESPN2 -9/19 vs. Buffalo, Noon, BTN -9/26 vs. Wisconsin, TBD but no later than 5 pm -10/2 (Friday) at Northwestern, 8 pm, Fox -Everything else TBD.

A couple of differences: 1. The Medlar name was honorary and while Lubrano was a donation, it's customary for big donors to get their name, not business, on the building(s). There was university policy around this that was amended for WSH.

@StuffSomersSays I don’t think it’s necessarily a Bait and Switch - it’s still Beaver Stadium and WSH is a/has been a sponsor of athletics for a while now. I get the disappointment of a company name. I wish it was named after a certain legendary head coach.

My biggest gripe with it is that it's a bait and switch on fans.

A thing that only I would notice: Penn State likely updated the name of Beaver Stadium in Google to "West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium" -- even though this was just a "field naming rights" deal.

Philly Sports Complex is wild to me, because it's basically a sea of parking lots where they just keep building and tearing down stadiums in slightly different locations.

Everyone (including me) is assuming that the WHITE OUT will be October 10th. The only hiccup would be if @FOXSports claims it for their BIG NOON game (again). Reason that won’t happen is the jet-lagged @USC_Athletics would essentially be playing 9AM their time.
