I just passed the oral defense of my doctoral project!!! It’s finally complete!

I have submitted chapters 1-5 of my doctoral project in past tense! I got up at 3:30am every morning this week to get it revised. Next steps include preparing for my oral defense and completing my institutional academic review. Almost there!

My chapter 5 committee revisions are complete! Now, I move on to changing everything to past tense (which I don’t really understand the why?), the final academic review, and my defense. Hopefully, by the end of February or beginning of March, I will finally be done.

I spent Thanksgiving break writing chapter 4 of my doctoral project and Christmas break writing chapter 5. I just submitted a complete first draft of chapter 5. It will undoubtedly undergo revisions, but essentially, I have a first complete draft of my doctoral project!

Next week is finals week for my students and I have massive project grading to complete! THEN, I will be writing chapter 5 of my doctoral project over Christmas break!!!
