@NotAlanius I like to imagine she had a primeape and felt so guilty for letting it die from anger she’s obligated to keep it around. I think she’d find Mankey cute and strong enough to use initially, which was a big consideration for a lot of these.

@therealESGOO Honestly I really wondered how Annihilape got here But the Dex entries mention dying by rage, and the Evo method is 20 Rage Fists. I wonder if Rodya's 1st kill (which set off The Middle in her backstreets) was the theoredically 20th Rage Fist.

@Fleur_De_Kat I understand the desire to give the Sinners Pokemon that are just like them on a surface level, but I doubt Ryoshu would actually want to use a Kangaskhan. Outside of both being mothers I don't see Kangaskhan fitting Ryoshu's vibe. Ceruledge could work, but Zacian is sword dog.

@composingfuture It's kinda meant to represent the weight of guilt that the death of so many crew members should have on Outis/Odysseus. At the same time, I think it fits the general vibe of her team by being Grass and kinda Steel type with Steelworker. Outis is also associated with sea, like Ish

@CazadorTuko I really wish I had a better explanation for that one. I just think Electric Steel type combo is fitting for Meursault. It was an instant add once I thought of it, which are generally the Pokemon I feel strongest about, but I think he would like it aesthetically too.

Gregor Poor guy wasn't allowed to choose a starter, almost like he's some sorta...stranger. Gregor is very Absol to me, considering the lore behind it "bringing disasters" despite trying to prevent them. Just two fellas with real bad luck. Other contenders: Politoed, Turtwig
