@sunmoondirtbag authoritarianism also creates an atmosphere of fear and resentment that doesn't allow for dissenting voices, which you do actually need by the way, and blinds people at the top to the consequences of their actions. it's not worth it.

I believe in prison reform, NOT prison abolition. My first reform would be to release all of the prisoners. My second reform would be to stop sending people to prison. My third reform would be to demolish the prisons or convert them into a good building, like a library
