Something I keep thinking about is how the Red Sox of years past let their top prospects grow into leadership roles. Pedroia and Bogaerts as prime examples.
Red Sox are putting Roman Anthony into such a tough spot. A 21-year old expected to not just be a star, but the savior.

BREAKING: Wisconsin guard John Blackwell is entering the transfer portal, per multiple reports. The 6-4 junior from Michigan averaged 19.1 PPG and 5.1 RPG. His dad, Glynn, played for Illinois from 1984-1988.

The NCAA is expected to finalize an expansion of the men’s and women’s tournaments to 76 teams soon after the completion of this year’s March Madness tournament, per Yahoo Sports' @RossDellenger.
Barring something unforeseen, “it will happen,” a high-placed source told Dellenger.
The proposal would add eight games to the First Four, with 24 teams playing in an opening round before advancing into the second round.

@ChrisMWilliams Some of the offers I’m hearing for UNI players to be bench players is outrageous.
When bench players at power leagues are rivaling NBA league minimum money, that is a MAJOR problem.

I do not believe that NiL is what will doom college sports. I do believe that unlimited transferring could be a MAJOR problem tho. That's the real problem. Fans are not interested in this type of roster turnover. It will weigh on the industry.
I also reject the "this generation of kids" thing. Every older generation in the history of humanity has said that about those who come after them.

@ChrisMWilliams This generation of kids… cannot handle discipline/ hard work/ criticism… and now they can leave…. And for NIL $$….. college sports are cooked.
