His CF style is also the exact style we tried to recruit in Gyokeres. In behind threat. Think Vardy. The club did nothing. That player went on to strengthen United. Summer started, I begged the club so much to not sign Gyokeres. I begged. I threatened. I coerced. The club went ahead to sign him. I also have begged the club to let Trossard go, especially when he could fetch a good fee. Antoine Semenyo was there. Obvious. Apparent. A 6ft super fast Trossard. But because they had spunk money on Gyokeres, presumably, that was no longer a plausible move. I also suggested the idea of signing Bruno Fernandes.
