UW River Falls just won the Stagg Bowl (D3 Natty)
This team didn’t have a winning season for 19 seasons from 2001-2019.
They hadn’t made the D3 playoffs since 1996 until this season.
This season they averaged almost 600 YPG and almost 80 plays per game.
Tonight they are national champions on a night their QB Kaleb Blaha broke the NCAA yards in a season record that was held by 2019 Joe Burrow.
North Central had been unbeatable all season they only played one single procession game in the regular season. They had been scoring 50,60, and even 70 points in games this season. They had played in the last five national titles and won 3 of them. UW-River Falls beat them.
One of the best stories in college athletics you’ll see.
