One of the dumbest takes by every non athlete is that somehow the WBC is a greater threat to injury compared to Spring Training. People are beyond soft these days. Freak injuries will happen no matter what. Other injuries are preventable with preparation

I know there are risks to pitching in the WBC, but I think no one can benefit from getting high-pressure reps more than Aaron Nola, who will hopefully have a bounce back year with the Phillies.
