@milesbeckler I got Gemini to try this VOE 3 thing. I think if you have Gemini you get this feature. You click a button and it summarises for you. But nothing is stopping this from being a default feature in the future. Kinda like how gmail now suggests newsletters for you to unsubscribe from

@milesbeckler Thank you for the insightful response. Yes ikik. I find myself reading more physical books as an act of rebellion. I don't think AI will ever be at creative as humans, it will only copy patterns. Creativity comes from another invisible plane.

@milesbeckler Yeah, pretty much. The term is from the book 'Outwitting the Devil'. For me I fear the more I use AI, the less critical my thinking will become and the more suggestible I will become, if I don't have clear boundaries. I have been working on some.

@milesbeckler How are you balancing the use of AI whilst avoiding drifting? I love that AI can do so much for us, but I do fear the second order consequences. Do you have boundaries with AI use? I would love your perspective.

@milesbeckler @milesbeckler I have a conspiracy theory. We are now in the conditioning phase of AI. People are using GPT and other tools for quick answers and are making it a mental habit. + Information is getting harder to find. Eventually people will look to AI for deeper solutions.
