I confess to not having heard of @A_J_Snowden before today’s PMQ’s. One to definitely watch. He took his opportunity and absolutely nailed it and nailed Starmer. 👊
Conservatives@Conservatives

Watch Conservative MP @A_J_Snowden embarrass Keir Starmer in PMQs 🔥 What is Keir Starmer trying to hide? Why won’t he tell the British public if he spoke to Mandelson about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein?

@senorbott Aluko should be in the squad, against Charlton when we played with ten men for most of the game he was excellent

If we dont have a right back in our academy thats better than Hamza Choudhury, then close the fucking academy down. Its not fit for purpose.

@thereallcfc I am not gloating. Lived in Leicester for a while and loved going to Filbert Street. Would be great if we both stayed up. Up the foxes. Up the baggies.

@_mattpiper He needs to bring back players like Page and Aluko, trusting the same old muck that has let this club down week after week is just stupidity.

BBC Sport Leicester@BBCRLSport

🦊 #LCFC | Gary Rowett has told BBC Sport Leicester that his Leicester City side must take full responsibility for the defeat at home to Queens Park Rangers. The Foxes are 23rd in the Championship after they let a lead slip away. 🗣️ "There is no one to blame, except for ourselves. We can’t come in twice in a three game week and say that we lacked energy," says Rowett.

@ciarandurham To be honest mate, it’s only a small but beautiful city centre. Can walk around in a day. We went up the Torrazzo tower today and basically just eating/drinking our way around the bars 😂 Got a car hire and going Lake Garda tomorrow

@nickdemarco_ Come on Nick, we need the points much more than QPR, although these last 2 seasons I would argue you have secured us more points than some of our managers 😂 enjoy your day just not too much

On the train to Leicester to watch QPR in one of my green suits. Guest of Leicester City, a valued client, and my first visit to the King Power Stadium. Ideally they continue collecting points this season. Just not against QPR. Sometimes football loyalties require careful tailoring. Just hope for a good day out. #qpr #lcfc #sportslawyer

It’s an interesting one, there is a lot to like about him, he is relatively straight talking and has simplified a lot. However I am concerned about his preference for experience over youth. Leaving out Mukusa who was flying and Page dropping out the squad is a bit of red flag especially long term given the quality of the academy. Too be honest people will want him to stay after a win but needs a few more before I start to get caught up in the emotion. Watch it change if we lose or draw today.

Why does it always have to be both, up to 2021 the ownership and hierarchy were happy to be lauded for our success, however the following 5 years have been utterly shambolic so surely responsibility, accountability, challenge and significant change has to be expected. Yes we have experienced unbelievable highs, the very best but that doesn’t not should it mean abject and catastrophic failure should be accepted and brushed under the carpet.

Simple question: if someone had offered you this deal back in 2009, would you have taken it? Knowing everything that followed — the highs, the heartbreak, the chaos — would you still sign up for it? League One champions. Play-off heartbreak against Cardiff and Watford. Promotion to the Premier League as champions in 2014. Then the Greatest Escape in 2015. The impossible dream in 2016 — Premier League Champions. A Champions League quarter-final. A Europa League semi-final. Two trips to Wembley for the Community Shield, lifting it once. And finally, at the fifth attempt, the FA Cup. Then the reality check — relegation from the Premier League, an instant Championship title, and sadly another relegation. A true rollercoaster of incredible highs and painful lows. But if you could go back to 2009… would you take that deal?

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of 15-year-old Academy player, Amelia Aplin. Amelia collapsed during a Girls’ Academy game against Fulham at the Club’s Training Centre in Horspath yesterday afternoon. The thoughts and sincere condolences from everyone at Oxford United are with Amelia’s family, friends, teammates and coaches. We would like to place on record our appreciation for the efforts of the medical staff at both Oxford United and Fulham Football Club, along with the emergency services. The Club will offer support to Amelia’s family, players, coaches and staff impacted by this tragic event. We would ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult time.
