gm The Plague is spreading to Japan. Our friends at Hikeshi will start carrying this hanten hoodie (made in Japan) in their storefront in the Asakusa is Sensoji Temple area. The temple gets nearly 30 million visitors per year from all over the world. My guess is that they will sell-out (relatively low qty initial test) rather quickly. And I mean sales to their customers, not our holders. Once that proves out, we will work with them on a few more pieces and integrate a process that introduces the apparel buyer into the Plague NFT ecosystem. Oh yeah, we will also be bringing @HiKESHi_NFT to life very soon as well.

Over the past year in the bear market, projects have head their heads down building. They hadn’t delivered since no news would have made an impact anyways. While this is great and has given them time to perfect their product, it has created echo chambers in communities 👇 NFT holders picked their favorite projects going into the bear and have been in discord and twitter most days since growing with the other community members and reading through all of the announcements and alpha. Since the market has been so quiet, a lot of this news hasn’t leaked out of the echo chambers of individual projects. Now holders are reluctant to buy into anything new because they feel they’ve missed the boat. They missed all of the announcements for the past year. They missed the hours of building camaraderie with other holders. They feel it’d be too hard to catch up on all that’s been done and would be misinformed to buy into a new project. I do not want this to be the case with @ThePlagueNFT! While I love the tight knit community that we have built over the past 1.5 years, I want to GROW our community! This is why I spend hours compiling all of the information my brain has read and taken in since the frogs minted and put it into threads on the timeline. It isn’t to pump my bags, it’s to grow. I remember @ThePlagueNFT run to .8 almost a year ago like it was yesterday. I remember exactly where I was, which was a car dealership picking out a new vehicle for my wife. The community was having so much fun and the timeline was euphoric. I had around 50 frogs at the time so that certainly helped my joy. But that was a false pump. We had no reason to climb then, it was just alpha groups calling us out in their chat rooms because our community was so loud and we were undervalued. I agree that at the time we didn’t deserve to be .8 ETH. We hadn’t delivered anything and for all we knew as holders, @Pons_ETH could have been the same as the rest of the shady founders out there that talk big and then run off to their tropical vacations on a mental health break and are never to be heard from again. We dipped all the way back down to around .2 where I tweeted, and stacked frogs, and tweeted, and stacked more frogs, until I blinked and owned over 100. Fast forward to today, and now if we were at that .8 ETH mark, I would tell you that we were severely undervalued. Since then: @Pons_ETH made the bold move of migrating our contract when royalties were being abolished to ensure the team could still collect funds to build out global businesses. He also paid for the airdrop costs in their entirety so that it was free to holders. The community funded an LP for $FRG in order to give people and projects a chance to acquire it off secondary markets as opposed to strictly staking frogs for it. @Pons_ETH joined in on the fun and burned 2/3 of the total supply, and also renounced the contract so that it was fully decentralized. @Making_Coffee_ , a global coffee brand, and the first business created by @ThePlagueNFT, launched and is about to start their web 2 marketing campaign, along with numerous other @TheFrogTank projects that will provide utility to our $FRG token. It was announced that we are soon going Omni-chain to branch out of the $ETH echo chamber, as well as gaining the ability to update our frogs with new traits that we vibe with. @Pons_ETH also did what no founder has ever done before, which was gifting equity in the business to loyal holders who have helped him make his vision a reality up to this point. He proved to all of us through the launch of @Making_Coffee_ and gifting equity that: 1) He can be trusted to do what he says 2) He is different than 99% of founders and respects his community 2024 piggybacks on this momentum and then some We have countless additional @TheFrogTank projects launching in 2024 and another @ThePlagueNFT created business in @WenSwap_io, which I’m most excited about. This model will quite literally steal a lot of demand from the banking industry. It’s a new form of supply chain financing that puts lending into the hands of investors/consumers rather than the banks. So instead of banks getting 8% interest on the initial loan, your consumers/investors can provide that money up front and either take a discount on the product later, or consign it to the business to sell and get paid back at a higher price. It’s a genius model that decentralizes opportunity for thousands of people. So yeah, frogs were overvalued a year ago at .8 ETH. Next cycle, they will be undervalued at 8 ETH…

How do you build a strong community? You incentivize holders to hold. How do you incentivize holders to hold? You create a staking token to reward them so they never have to sell their NFT. How do you know the token will work in keeping them from selling their NFTs anyways? You build an ecosystem where multiple businesses utilize the token. What cherry on top can you do to make it so your strongest holders NEVER leave? You grant them equity within the company. This is community building 101, courtesy of @ThePlagueNFT
