Today I am proud to sign SB 357, Oregon's new common sense gun law, which simply requires a daily use permit to carry a gun outside your home each time you leave the house. Gun owners will be required to fill out a form detailing when they plan to leave the home, type of gun, how long they will be gone, where they will be going with their gun and when they will return. SB 357 will save lives and stop senseless gun violence! Bullets require a separate permit.
