I think I just witnessed blatant matchfixing. Algeria scored which meant they would've faced Spain and Austria were eliminated. Then they let Austria score 30 seconds later so they could face Switzerland instead. Nuts.

@JustinMacmahan Strongly disagree here. The technology is working to perfection, and has helped “perfect” the game. The rules are stupid. Change the rules, not the technology

It’s simply too hard to score goals to have so many randomly invalidated due to meaningless foot placement. I mean this is completely undetectable to the human eye and has zero bearing on the play. Technology has ruined this game
