In 1985 saints headed to New Zealand for a four game end of season tour. The tour started with three defeats before a 42-12 victory against Northland concluded the tour. This shirt was only ever worn during the tour to NZ and as such was never released as a replica either.

Happy new year to all followers of the page, all saints fans. Here’s a 1998 home shirt worn during his only season at the club by Brett Goldspink. Only differences from the 97 are the generic super league numbers and the JJB Sports logo on the super league logo on the arms.

Merry Christmas to everyone from us here at Shirtsofthesaints. Seems fitting to show a number 25 on Christmas Day and also one from the big man @engywalmsley at the end of his testimonial year. This 2013 away shirt is one of his favourite @Saints1890 designs.

Had to be this one today. 1996. This is the shirt that would have been worn by Dean Busby that day, had he not seriously injured his knee the week before the game. This was donated by Dean himself. If your going to Wembley, we will see you there. Come on you Saints

So here it is the 2004 home shirt voted by both @seanlong7777 and @keithmason_official as their favourite @saints1890 shirts during their time at the club. 2004 saw the saints beat the auld enemy in the challenge cup final and was the year of the infamous good Friday brawl.

So here it is @alexwalmsley90 least favourite ever @saints1890 shirt and I have to agree it wasn’t my favourite. It’s a match spare 2016 away shirt. You can see the length, the chest grips and the gps pocket on the rear that identifies the modern match shirt over any replica.
