Director Paul Thomas Anderson swept the awards with One Battle After Another only a few months ago, and it's too soon to begin work on a new project since Anderson likes to take his time, spend time with his family, and write. But one prospective project and partnership that has been in the works is Anderson directing Denzel Washington, and Washington, like Leonardo DiCaprio, has previously stated that he has been seeking to work with Anderson for years. That project could be on the 1940s Los Angeles jazz culture known as Little Harlem, or it could be an action thriller, which is not a bad idea either.
