I’m not sure of the specifics regarding Karamo and queer eye. What I DO know is that white queer men are uniquely—and can be incredibly—harmful to Black queer men. And Black queer men know that. Always.

It’s also perfectly reasonable that some Black gay men, myself included, aren’t interested in reflexive solidarity, especially given how “brothers” have moved.
