Bowman’s day is done after the incident in stage 2, he’s headed to the garage. Absolutely brutal day to return as the 48 car struggled to fire off well all day. Back to the drawing board for Kansas #NASCAR

Bowman is now 7 laps down after this incident. Almost certainly not the return he was looking for

Bowman wasn’t able to catch the lucky dog before the end of stage 1, trapping him a lap down. Tells the team he fires off really poorly and the car is way too tight. While the car finds some balance late in the run it’s too little, too late. #NASCAR

Not much chatter over Bowman’s radio, still riding around in 30th and dueling with John Hunter Nemecheck. Doing what he needs to do to get through today #NASCAR

The #48 team felt good about taking the top during the choose, but haven’t been able to get down and it’s cost them. Bowman down in 29th with under 50 to go in Stage 1. #NASCAR

CAUTION for Keslowski! Great timing for Bowman, who was just lapped by Kyle Larson. He tells his team he’s struggling on entry and can’t turn the wheel. He’s coming down pit road for adjustments and four new tires.

As Larson passes Blaney on the bottom, Bowman is told that cars are beginning to drift up in turns 3 and 4 for a better run off. Down in 28th, they’re trying to give him information about what his teammate, Larson is doing. #NASCAR #HendrickMotorsports
