its the *beta branch* of an early access game that has a built in feedback button btw none of the changes are even in the actual game yet

@x_deeps no people throwing tantrums and resorting to review bombs over insignificant balance changes was just pretty notable with hd2 and its the most relevant/widely known example i could think of

@theweevilguy @USuspannik27976 Not even mad, just gave my opinion and will wait to see if anything changes. If it does, I’ll change my review back to positive. Regardless of my faith in the devs, I’ll still do that. Besides, I doubt they made the change due to in game feedback if this is the response.

I don’t know the entire history of the dev team and nowhere while playing it was it introduced to me. Your reality is not normal for most gamers, we aren’t doing all that and haven’t been around since 2017.

@theweevilguy @USuspannik27976 That doesn’t change the effectiveness of steam reviews over in game feedback just because they also listen to in game feedback. Players aren’t looking up the dev teams history and how they operate before writing a bad review and I’d never expect them to.

@theweevilguy @USuspannik27976 If the devs won’t make the change because of steam review bombing, they certainly weren’t going to do it from in game feedback. So no, it wasn’t demonstrated at all.

@theweevilguy @WisleyChalke Well we can both agree that we don’t support review bombing. All I’m trying to say is that I believe a good number of the changes I believe were unnecessary, and were disproportionate punishments for what i assume was attempting to curb infinites
