@JimmyNailsTales Massive rebuild. Manager and 4 players all know they are going. Get to end of the season and go again

I genuinely thought we’d win today. Where do we go from here?

@RubyQNUFC Willock, Joelinton, Barnes….. take your pick today. Piss poor

@DanLang12 A lot of players are going to leave because we have stalled now under Howe.
English

Alot of people are calling for Howe out on here. I just want to know what actual manager they think is available right now and who would take the Newcastle job and take Newcastle forward? A lot of the players will definitely want to leave if we got rid of Howe. #NUFC

🏆 On this day in #NUFC history back in 2001 Sir Bobby Robson's Newcastle United side beat Barnsley, under Nigel Spackman, 1-0 at Oakwell in the Worthington Cup 3rd Round, courtesy of a Craig Bellamy goal, in front of 14,493 fans, with around 4,500 Geordies in the North Stand.
The game was the first time Sir Bobby didn't use any of his five substitutes in 2001. The previous time was against Leeds at home on Boxing Day, 2000 and game was also Steve Harper's first clean sheet of the year, his last coming when we overcame Leyton Orient 2-0 at St.James' in the same competition back the previous year in September 2000.
Bellamy's goal meant that he became the first toon player to register goals in consecutive League Cup ties since Les Ferdinand in 1995/96 (Bristol City at home, Stoke away.)

@Plettigoal @SkySportDE @picturealliance No strikers but let Osula leave?! Plenty more stories that might be believable that you could spin
English

🚨🆕 William #Osula is one to watch until Deadline Day.
The 22 y/o striker could still leave Newcastle in the coming days. There is also interest from the Bundesliga. Bayer 04 Leverkusen have him on their radar, but nothing is advanced yet.
