When I was first starting out in radio I did a little bit of everything around the station. While in Cranbrook, I was able to help out with post game coverage for the Kootenay Ice. This was an incredibly intimidating environment to be in as young as I was and being female.

Some coaches were great, others not so much.
You know who always treated me with respect, patience and kindness? Kris Knoblauch. I am well aware this has nothing to do with his ability to coach in the NHL, but it sure gives you an idea of the type of person he is.

Remarkably Bright Creatures is my fave book I’ve ever read.
That being said, I read it over a year ago and I feel I likely forgot those details the movie left out. They did such a great job with the movie, but reading the book is a must. 💛
