@sefnap @nixos_org I haven't tested installing x86 apps permanently before, because I just used the ability to run x86 stuff to have a x86 remote builder on my mac for deploying servers and stuff. @thexyn0 @nixos_org Thanks for sharing this! I just got it working. Is it possible to install x86 apps in your nixos config? I keep getting "unsupported system" errors when I try.

@n4of7 I ran a similar setup with a pi 4 and it even managed ~900mbps just fine

it does work btw. for ~80-100mbps vdsl/cable it'll be just fine. i get full speed on my internet. i used an rpi for routing years ago, and decided to set one up again while bored today

Don't look like much but this is my new router. I ordered a case for it, arrives next week. Custom setup, routed /28 IPv4 and /64 IPv6 block provided by @aaisp You can get quite a lot flexibility running a custom routing setup on linux/bsd. I've done setups like this for years.
