The Web3 space has one of the shortest attention spans of any industry. Right now, a lot of the attention is on memecoins. And Robinhood Chain is a good example. One of the biggest reasons it gained so much early attention was everything happening in the trenches. Everyone was looking for the next runner. Everyone wanted to be early. And I think that's what makes this space so interesting. Attention moves fast. It follows whatever people are excited about at the time. Today's narrative is memecoins. A few months from now, it'll probably be something else. That's why I don't think it's a good idea to build your entire strategy around where attention is today.

Every NFT project is competing for the same four things: ⤷ Attention. ⤷ Trust. ⤷ Time. ⤷ Liquidity. And getting just one of them is already hard enough. But I think a lot of projects make the mistake of trying to chase all four at the same time. They want attention, trust, and liquidity right away, while also trying to build a product, manage a community, and keep everyone excited. But we all know that good things usually take time. You can't force people to care about your project overnight. You can't build a strong community in a few weeks. And you can't expect everything to happen at once. Sometimes it's better to focus on one thing, do it well, and let the others come naturally. You can't build a lasting project by trying to win everything at once. You build it by knowing what deserves your attention first.
