The Xavi Simons news paints quite an interesting (and worrying) picture for Spurs financially. Given the significance of their injuries, Xavi (£195k p/w), Maddison (£170k) & Deki (£110k) will all almost certainly have to stay if we get relegated - at least until January 2027. Argument to say Kudus (£150k) might also be in a similar boat. That's some wage bill in the Championship.

I have a question. Let‘s say Spurs get relegated, what would happen to their players? Do they have a clause that allows them to leave or can the club force them to stay and play in the Championship? I‘ve never seen a club with so many big names get relegated so I was wondering
