Why is the Transport Ministry appointing a private company as a JPJ collection agent? Is JPJ not capable of doing this themselves? Ramssol claims its Rider Gate portal will let Malaysians perform key JPJ services such as licence renewals, summons payments, and ownership transfers through a supposedly convenient and secure digital platform, with a small fee per transaction. But all these services already exist on JPJ’s official digital platforms: mySIKAP and myJPJ.

Anwar Ibrahim’s former Political Secretary (2018–2022) suddenly reinvented himself as a “young corporate icon” after Anwar became PMX — becoming chairman of five listed companies within just 24 months, holding major stakes or involvement in three more, and being accused via leaked documents of obtaining a 70,000-hectare mineral licence in Sabah. His later Senior Political Secretary (2022–2025) was forced to resign last week and has now been remanded after leaked videos and documents linked him to bribery and illicit payments. And today, another leak dropped - this time involving the Political Secretary (since 2022) to the Finance Minister, who also happens to be Anwar himself. A letter from the Finance Minister’s Political Secretary was sent directly to the Director-General of JPS, listing five private companies “applying” for the Batu Pahat flood mitigation project under pre-qualification. Stamped URGENT. Meaning: it’s not an open tender because pre-qualification is already required. What happened next? The moment the letter arrived, a JPS officer scribbled: “For KP’s attention. Please request feedback.” Translation: this is not a normal letter — boss must see it. The JPS DG himself stamped, signed, and issued directions on 22 November. Random letters don’t get this VIP treatment. Officers then passed the letter around internally, marking “for action”, “for review”, adding dates like it’s a Shopee parcel, not a federal project. The clearest note: “Cik Fatin, please minute this.” Meaning it has already entered the processing pipeline. The internal tracking boxes of the JPS Contract & Quantity Survey division were fully ticked. If it wasn’t meant to be processed, it would never reach this level. So the Finance Minister’s political office sent a list of preferred companies directly to JPS for a major project — and JPS processed it as if it were a top-down instruction. Public records show the project exists, the tender exists… but no award announcement anywhere. Now we wait for PMX — who is also the Finance Minister — to say (again) that he has “sternly reprimanded” his officers, and that there is no need to sack anyone because “the letter is vague”. From Anwar to PMX to Finance Minister, one pattern is clear: all his political secretaries are extremely powerful.

There are several inaccuracies in PMX’s statement today: 1. He said PH’s promise has been fulfilled. But PH promised fuel at RM1.50 within 24 hours, not a mere 6 sen cut to RM1.99 after 30 months. Also, he didn’t mention that world oil prices have already fallen from about US$80–90 per barrel to US$60–70 this year - a drop of 23–25%. Yet RON95 only dropped 2.9%. In reality, RM1.99 isn’t historically cheap; under Najib it was around RM1.80 for five years and even dipped to RM1.60 for a few months in 2016. 2. He claimed this was possible because the national debt has been managed. In reality, debt hasn’t gone down but increased by RM222.4 billion in just the first 2½ years of Madani. This year alone, debt is set to rise another RM80 billion - three times faster than under Najib, and 60% higher than during PH1.0. Not only has the debt value increased but the all-important debt to GDP ratio has also soared from 60.3% before Madani to 66.5% now. 2. He said it was also due to good governance and cleaning up leakages. If leakages have been cleaned up, why is 2025 spending projected at RM421 billion - RM89 billion higher than the Covid era (RM322b) and RM160 billion higher than under Najib, who they accused of being wasteful? And if debt is under control and leakages eliminated, why were so many subsidies cut, utility rates repeatedly increased, new taxes introduced, and existing taxes raised twice and expanded in scope? So is it really the people who are “cleaning up” leakages - by paying more taxes and higher utility bills?

By the time it hits RM1.7 trillion, The Edge calculates that every Malaysian will be saddled with RM85,000 in debt each, about the price of a brand-new Proton X50. Before they came to power, their sweet promise was supposedly to reduce the national debt. Now it’s a different story. Under RMK-13, Madani plans to push national debt up to RM1.7 trillion by 2030 - and that’s assuming they don’t overshoot the budget again. That’s an increase of RM620 billion in just 8 years, compared to RM1.08 trillion already recorded by the end of 2022 before Madani. Today, it has already reached RM1.33 trillion. Compare that with Najib’s time: debt only went up by RM380 billion over 9 years, reaching RM687 billion.

For 9 years he criticised, smeared, and attacked Najib and BN - nothing happened. Just 3 months criticising PH, and his family was threatened, beaten, stabbed as a warning to stay silent. Now he knows who’s truly evil and dangerous.

For eight out of nine years as PM, Najib’s government paid compensation to highway toll companies so toll rates wouldn’t go up. Not once did Najib go live nationwide pretending it was some “extraordinary appreciation” for the people. Back then, PH went all out, blasting BN for “forgetting how to govern,” claiming the RM400 million compensation solved nothing, only made cronies richer, and would ultimately fall on the rakyat. Every year after that, the same RM400 million had to be paid. Lim Guan Eng even called the 2014 announcement a “sweetener” tactic for the Kajang by-election. So now, I’m just waiting to see how Guan Eng spins PMX’s RM500 million compensation to toll companies yesterday to freeze toll hikes this year. What’s the “sweetener” for this time? limguaneng.com/index.php/2014…
