@thingskatedid You don't have to do anything like that. You just post and connect with friends.

@StOnSoftware the UI. the whole thing feels like it's programers-only. i don't want to understand if i have to "federate an instance", i just want to talk with my friends. i don't care what the "fediverse" is. and comments like "we're all on mastodon". that just patently isn't true.

@Pangaea__ okay if you didn't know, it's entirely in pitch black. and you have to imagine every time that kick drum fires, you physically change position, involuntarily. and that the sound is completely clear in all frequencies, you can clearly distinguish *everything*
