According to Pledis Entertainment, Picheolin will release his 1st Mini Album, '吉BOARD', on August 3. The album title is a reinterpretation of the 1990s street culture 'Gilboard', combining the Chinese character '吉' (meaning Auspicious/Lucky) and the English word 'Board'. This album carries the meaning of using the streets as a stage to evoke national excitement, and through this, hoping for good fortune in everyone's lives. Picheolin plans to expand his own cheerful worldview by showcasing a well-made B-grade sensibility. Picheolin is a character established as the CEO of the leading music agency BOMG and a warm-hearted, energetic producer. He first appeared in the 2021 SEVENTEEN FAN MEETING VCR and has been consistently loved by fans ever since. In the 1st Mini Album, Picheolin establishes himself as a 'producer on the road' who samples people's stories with a warm and friendly meddling nature and remixes them into music. Attention is also focused on the new musical transformation that SEVENTEEN's all-around maknae DINO will showcase through his alter ego, Picheolin. At 8 AM on this day, a video titled 'Monday Guest: Exclusive Interview with Picheolin, Guardian of 'Hype'' was released on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel. The video is structured around the concept of several Picheolins from different eras appearing on a morning cultural program to introduce their respective 'paths of hype'. The 'Picheolin of the Prehistoric Era' was depicted as a figure who discovered excitement before language. He revived the extinguished embers with an exciting beat, and the 'Picheolin of the Exciting Era' boosted the morale of the soldiers by developing the sound of spears hitting the ground into music. 'Picheolin from year 2126' appears as a character who discovers a new rhythm while dueling with an arch-nemesis from an alien planet and achieves harmony through excitement. The setting, which transcends time, further expands Pincheolin's worldview and adds the fun of a B-movie sensibility. In the latter part of the video, the atmosphere takes a spectacular turn with the appearance of the 'Picheolin from year 2026'.
