@bengotow You’re right, self care does take forms, and I’m proud of you for recognizing what your soul needs. But not everyone has the luxury of leaving behind their life, wive + commitments to go build furniture. Self care should be integrated into life, not be an escape from your life.

Hold up, this is real. Last month I took a self-care break and spent 25 hrs making a table. You gotta do what your heart needs, whether that’s sitting still or moving in a new direction or screaming into space. It doesn’t need to be rational to be valid, it just needs to be you.
