police should not be responding to mental health related emergencies.

francophone media have not acknowledged or mentioned that the person murdered by the spvm was Black.

really not seeing much about it in the media - especially in the francophone media.

these are just questions i use to hold myself accountable and to create attainable meaningful goals without losing sight of the bigger issues that need to be tackled.

every day we (me too) have to ask ourselves; "what am i doing for Black and Indigenous lives?"

@beckybeck69 yes to some of this...but also girls are put in situations where they are expected to be mature. girls are expected to clean up, to cook, etc. i don’t think we want to be considered as mature i think it’s expected of us so we perform it and internalize it

Girls have this unhealthy urge to be considered mature at a young age. Like they wanna prove that they're responsible adults before they even turn 18

just think about it for a second. we are protesting police brutality not as a handful of events but as a systematic issue. inviting the police to that march simply discredits decades of research and advocating for police brutality to be seen as a legitimate systematic issue.
