@BaluGorade Zero LTCG, hat’s not gonna happen to be honest. Roll back STT hike & LTCG to reduce gradually on the basis of tenure of investment. Must be some incentive if someone is investing for 6-8 plus years. Reduce LTCG to 10% and increase exemption limit to 1.5 Lakh atleast.

If LTCG goes to zero, two scenarios: 1. FIIs may take it positively, return gradually, and markets could lift. 2. Tax free gains may trigger faster profit booking, increasing short term volatility. How do you see it? 👀

LTCG should go down gradually. Investments - Post 1 year 10% Post 2 year 7.5% Post 3 year 5% Post 4 year 2.5% Post 5 year ZERO LTCG TAX STT should roll back to previous levels. STCG can be at same level at 20% to make people invest long term. @nsitharaman @FinMinIndia

Especially for UP, when you say travelling to other states, I mean which state you are referring to. Are people from that state not coming to UP ? I work in Noida, and seen people from Bangalore, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra and Coimbatore as well. I’m talking specifically about IT sector here.
