@4ngelofmydre4ms @thirlwasabii I’m still new to having an access card, but as people are saying not all disabilities are visible, which is now my case, and not everyone needs or wants a seat, I suppose it’s just that some need certain supports in place regardless of where it lands you

@thirlyrapp @thirlwasabii Oh I see! Thanks for explaining. I just don’t understand how some people that don’t have injuries and only disabilities don’t go for seated tickets instead when they know they can’t stand? (I mean I know why, but that would be controversial I guess lol).

@4ngelofmydre4ms @thirlwasabii I got GA tickets in presale& didn’t need accessibility then. I was then scheduled for surgery in Sept, I asked for seats afterwards but they had none but offered me accessible standing and I applied for my card but I wasn’t sure I could go until my consultant cleared me last week

@thirlyrapp @thirlwasabii I don’t know you and I don’t know whether you need accessibility or not, mine is purely a question out of curiosity. If you have any kind of problem, why not buying a seated ticket instead?

I used my accessibility access yesterday for the first time, exactly one month to the date after major surgery that finally diagnosed the condition I’ve suffered with for 13 years. The stares, pointing, questioning and whispers were awful I cannot understand some people
