I think the reason for the paradox of "more connected than ever, but the lonliest we've ever been" is bc with social media and discord etc you ALWAYS have access to a person Why reach out RIGHT NOW if you could just talk to them later? Days turn to weeks, months, years 🥲

The in-game Hytale mod browser is releasing within the next 3 weeks! ⚠️ There will be no paid mods in the Mod Browser ⚠️ In a later update, you'll be able to financially support your favorite modders if you want to, and we'll thank supporters with in-game cosmetics. Support 5 modders, for example, and you could unlock something like transparent fairy wings! Modders will be able to create teams, handle earning splits, and so on. We'll also put extra money toward modders directly as our income grows.

@Joe46791334 @livingdevops You can easily set up an 8hr /goal on GPT 5.5xhigh from 30m of spec writing, then 30m to an hour more of having it interview you with multiple choice follow-up questions. I end up typing 1a 2c 3a 4a 5b etc... until a comprehensive plan is written and it doesn't guess.

Vibe coders everyday struggle in 15 seconds.

@KryyssX @livingdevops Using LLMs to code is a skill like anything else, and there's a lot of tricks and optimizations to avoid things like this. They can easily 10x a coder's speed if utilized correctly. The dude in OP's video is trying to drink a glass of water with a fork instead of a straw.

@ThirtyVirus @livingdevops This is why I legitimately have no interest in using AI for creating conteht in #GameDev. Not only is it frustrating to get the desired result but by the time anything is correct I could do it myself.

@ITISNICKMELLO @livingdevops Yup, models will over time "get what you mean" more often. Right now cases like OP happen 1/10 to 1/5 times. With that said when you're on the frontier of something new this will happen much more. I try to have them "interview me" with clarifying questions until 100% confidence.

@ThirtyVirus @livingdevops Meanwhile Apple Intelligence now knows the nuance difference between walking to a car wash to get your car washed when it’s only 100ft away vs ChatGPT. GPT used to suggest saving on gas and walking there and Apple was able to get the understanding that you need the car to wash it
