@sacchiereads @adedayoagarau yeah. there is a need for us creatives to be strongly active in the political scene of our respective homes. we shouldn’t just create art about political crises or issues; we should engage in politics to alleviate these ills and enact better policies.

creatives should engage in politics not only as voters but also as political candidates. change can be enacted beyond your artistic work by being part of political institutions that make those changes. what you must be wary of is the power of compromise.

Six years ago during the lockdown (17th April 2020), we lost mum to a very brief illness. A huge part of us left since then.

I lost my mum yesterday 17/04/2020 to the hands of death. She was a warrior, even at the point of death she was brave. May Allah grant her Aljannat Fridaus and spare her of the torment of grave. Thank you mum for all you did for us in your lifetime.
