I am such a nerd that I get far too excited when I see a version of a Star Trek logotype I did not know existed. This is from an early draft of the script for the first movie. And that typography? All funky and "futuristic." Nevertheless, everybody, set your phasers to...stunning.

@michaelbierut Bob was the first designer I saw speak. He got into a tense confrontation with @BubblesRaye over their wildly different approaches to design. I respected them both for their conviction and fearlessness. They made design exciting.
