Even bashing sports betting is crypto behavior. A lot of people in crypto slam the industry once they make their money and leave. The industry that gave them everything, but now that they are done with it, it’s bad for people.

With each passing day it seems more and more likely that the coins will remain in purgatory for a long, long time. Meme coins, while fun (trade what’s in front of you), have predictably set the industry back imo. I do think a few of them have staying power, but for the most part every meme will trend to zero (this shouldn’t be surprising).
I don’t see a path forward at the moment. That’s how it felt in ‘18 and ‘22. Eventually something new sparks from the abyss but until then, it’s only worth participating in this market if you trade majors on lower time frames.
Onchain could be dead (maybe forever). I don’t know. I personally don’t think so but at the very least, the game that you’ve grown accustom to will probably be gone forever.
I still think there’s a strong possibility that the intersection between AI/onchain can breed investment opportunities. I don’t know what that will look like because I’m not a dev, but just keeping my eyes open for a use case down the road.
Closing thought: It’s best to spend less time here for now.

Random thoughts if it’s actually over: Think we either speed run a 3-6(ish) month bear on btc (Alts been in a bear since Trump coin imo) or we have a very long bear (2017 style that basically lasted 18,19,most of 20). In the long bear scenario we probably chop/range for a long time. Think it won’t go as low as people ‘want’ but it’ll be endless chop that makes people want to legitimately kill themselves. For the sake of our industry let’s hope it’s the former not the latter.
