@dev_enjoys @NourHaridy It opens the door to some issues like having a hook that consumes a lot of gas. This should be implemented with a lot of precaution to make sure the fee covers the callers gas costs. Also, probably not very user friendly, but yeah it's interesting

Found a solution to eliminate liquidation risk for most borrowers: 1. The lending protocol lets each borrower choose a “pre-liquidation hook” contract address 2. Liquidators are required to execute the hook contract in the same block before liquidating the borrower 3. The hook lets the borrower save/unwind their position in any way they see fit pre-liquidation (e.g. deleveraging, unstaking to repay, adding more collateral), potentially reversing their liquidatable state. 4. Borrower pays fixed minor fee as MEV incentive instead of % fee that scales with amount, and avoids closure

Overall a great product! They are using smart contracts to custody funds in a trust less manner and complement it with redundant off-chain processes. It adds risks, but I think they did a good job at mitigating it and providing the tools for the users to monitor the vaults ROI

Gas is the final third expense, as the robos are most active in time of high volatility which often means higher gas price as people and arb bots are rushing trades. Gas being low and predictable is another advantage for them and that's one reason why they chose @avalancheavax

I have been following @robo_vault for a while now, I think I can do that. Their focus on single token vaults with sustainable yields is what makes them interesting, but it hides more complexity than traditional yield farms. Let's see how they do that #RoboVaultContest
