i am pretty sure giyuu has those days where he crashes out. days when training is supposed to feel like the one thing he can do right but everything feels off. his breathing, his forms, his body moving without his mind fully there,,,,this scares him but giyuu doesn’t crash out as loudly as one would think. he doesn’t yell or keep breaking things like what some people might do. he collapses even more on the inside. he goes quieter than usual, leaves before anyone notices, and pushes himself harder like he is trying to punish something he cannot fix then it slips, just once. his grip tightens too much, his breathing turns uneven, and one strike lands harsher than it should. maybe the sword hits the ground harder than intended and he keeps going. he keeps swinging no matter how tired he is, trying to perfect his form like that will fix something. his hands start to blister where he grips the hilt, the skin breaking, bleeding, but he doesn’t stop not until he decides it’s enough only then does he look down at his hands, and shut it all down again like nothing happened. because giyuu doesn’t break loudly. he fractures quietly and forces everything back under the surface
