I'll say a horrible thing: in the end boykott has no sense. With lower ratings but ESC still happened, 🇮🇱 sent a competetive and succesful song while artists from 🇪🇸🇳🇱🇮🇪🇸🇮🇮🇸 lost their opportunities. 🇮🇱 won without winning. And I'm saying it as a person who want 🇮🇱 to be banned.

@euro_jam Not even about reputational hazards. It's about options. a UK artist can go to international without eurovision. None of the European artist can do that. It the same problem with Ireland too. They stopped winning because of West life.

Identifying great artists isn’t the problem. It’s getting them to agree to do Eurovision, locking themselves into a contract and putting their careers on hold for several months, all for something that could be perceived as a reputational hazard…
