There is nothing unprecedented about him except longevity. There have been rappers with bigger peaks (Nelly, Hammer, 50 Cent), there are more influential rappers (Nas, Jay), rappers with better album (Ye, Future, T.i). He has the club in 2016 but it ain’t 2016 anymore.

Cause in 2000 there was Napster, Limewire, various mp3 file sharing websites and many other ways you can bootleg an album. You could buy burnt CDS with a whole album on it. So to still sell 10 million in the face of that is big
