Last week’s @go_nabsa conference was great! It’s amazing what a focus on cycling in a community can do- Biking in downtown Guadalajara used to be illegal- now, in just 10 years, they’ve added 230 miles of bike lanes and @MiBiciPublica provides over a million rides a year!

Need a mood boost? Psychologists have found that it only takes 15 minutes of cycling for cortisol (stress hormone) levels to decline. In fact, one study found 44% of commuters who cycle report experiencing little to no stress (ever), as comapred to 15-20% of other commuters!

Remember that bikes are vehicles! Enjoy your ride and the rest of your night, but do not ride drunk. There’s no shame in biking one way and calling for a car the other, especially if that’s what keeps you safe so you can have another great night next time.

Biking is one of the best ways to get to @OktoberfestTUL ! Here’s a map of our nearby stations, with trails, bike lanes, Oktoberfest’s location. To get to our bike rack at the festival, take the @riverparks trail across the 21st St bridge and follow the trail.
