USA, after squandering numerous opportunities to blow the game open against Brazil suddenly has watched their blowout turn into a close game. USA up 7-4 after 7 innings.

Well, quite simply, they need to get better by a mile on the offensive side. Their pitching staff had the best staff ERA in the league and if they showed any moderate level of offensive prodcution they could've won 90+ games.
