I knew and worked with Bob Mueller. I didn’t always agree with him, but he was a Patriot who never said no to his country’s call for service. To speak this way about any veteran is reprehensible; especially so when you are the Commander-in-Chief. Shame on the President.

God help us. This is disgraceful language coming from a Christian, or anyone with a soul. It was just as wrong to celebrate the death of Charlie Kirk as it is to celebrate that of Robert Mueller. May they rest in peace. And may we never forget that Jesus's message is about mercy.

I've known @JeffreyGoldberg professionally for years. When I was in politics and government, I didn't always love what he wrote but I always respected his integrity and professionalism. Trump's well worn, go-to play is to demonize journalists and dismiss ANY reporting he finds inconvenient or damaging.
