I was surprised Alec Segaert wasn't retained by Lotto during the merger with Intermarche. Won the hotly contested ITT at Renewi Tour in 2024 and has always looked strong as an ox. Fantastic to see him get his first pro road victory at GP Denain 💪

@laflammerouge16 Astana did the same last year. Lotto already did it in 2024. We have to be honest. The smaller teams can't compete anymore with the superteams in the big races. They have to be inventive to score enough points.

No ProTeam raced the Tour du Rwanda; only these WT and ProTeams were in Taiwan. Points are the same as any European 2.1 race—just with more chances to score. Remember these teams (the smart ones) at year’s end if they reach their goals or others miss out for 100-200 pts.
