uploader has not made the video available in my country. Do I, a UK TV License payer, have to break out my free Opera VPN to pretend to be non paying American to see tech content that I have already paid for? Good News, I don't write for the Mail or The Sun, but it's very much not a good look and exactly the sort of thing they will use to attack the BBC.

> Be this BBC tech reporter > Spend 20 minutes writing a fake blog post > Claim you're the world's #1 hot dog-eating journalist > Invent a fake championship to back it up > Watch ChatGPT and Google repeat it as fact within 24 hours > Realise you just manipulated 2 of the world's most powerful AIs with a single page > Find that users trust AI more than websites because it feels like the answer is coming from the tech company itself > Prove that tricking AI in 2026 is as easy as tricking Google was in the early 2000s Now imagine doing this legitimately for your business. That's how you win AI search.

After just five episodes, The Interface is now the 31st top podcast in the US, per the analytics company Rephonic At this rate, can you afford not to listen?

@Swetlanaai @jakezward You should check out my article about this. I didn’t just do it with my name. I also got the AI’s to parrot info from a list I made of the best hula hooping traffic cops (all of them imaginary) But this is happening on a massive scale, not just me. No domain authority required

@Swetlanaai @jakezward Actually no! The articles that fooled the LLMs were published on my person website, which has about zero domain authority. I didn't cover it on the BBC until the experiment was already finished. That's the point, these tools are that easy to trick

@jakezward Well if you're writing for BBC, your credibility does the heavy lifting for you 🤷‍♀️ that's not magic or hacking

@thomasgermain imagine being the Loud Whistler among your friends. you'd instantly be the big dog, the #1 guy in the group. everyone's looking to make the loud noise for a cheer or a "listen up"

I can't do the loud whistle with your fingers, but I feel like if I really spent time on it I could learn. And I feel certain it would change my life to become a Loud Whistle person, I'd do it so much and everyone would be so jealous and impressed with my whistle

Wired headphone sales are *exploding* in the last few months. But here's the weird part I thought it would be about sound quality, or maybe people getting sick of Bluetooth. But it turns out it's about... AI? I dug into the trend for the BBC bbc.com/future/article…
