I stopped construction on Main and Imperial today bc Imperial was closed but the submitted site plan approved by the city called for Imperial to be open in both directions. It was crippling business to my girlfriend’s shop. I got out my car and walked in the path of diggers and heavy machinery shouting “I have the right of way, you are in violation of your permit.” This got the Superintendents attention who quickly ran up on me. I confronted him with his approved submittal. He gave me a confused look and blamed the street closure on a sub trying to get in extra work. The street was immediately cleared of debris/machinery and open to traffic. This was prob a bit dramatic and I had time today but I guess my point is they’re lying we don’t have to live like this.

@driaashley_ I had an old woman next to me peeling and eating hard boiled eggs on a 10 hour flight to London once last year. I wanted to jump out the window.

Can we ban foods on airplanes that stink up the whole plane? I’m on this flight right now & the whole thing smells like cured meats/pickles 🤢 #PlaneEttiquette
