@thomaspercykim Will there be any KADS directly involved with production? Anyone can say they “consulted” with a community. I know another screenwriter who is writing a series about a KAD without any actual KADS involved with production.

@lcshorten (2) He is and will continue to be tightly integrated in the film, from development to picture lock. Like my friend, there are consultants that have been involved in the development of the film that are also Korean American adoptees.

@lcshorten Hi Lee and Kianna, yes, thank you for this very important question! The story for SI, the proof of concept short film, was first conceived from conversation with one of my hometown best friends, who is a Korean-American adoptee.
